The Coming (2015, St. Martin’s Press), written by Daniel Black, Ph.D., chronicles of the Middle Passage endured by captured Africans on their tragic voyage to enslavement in the Americas. Dr. Black will discuss his third novel with Gregory Carr, Ph.D. Professor/Chair, African American Studies, Howard University. Registration is strongly encouraged, though walk-ins will be welcomed.
