Based on a book called The Doodle Revolution featured in The New York Times, Fast Company and Oprah, this session will take students all the way from the basics of visual language to a form of visual note-taking that supports learning and comprehension, memory, concentration, engagement and effective presentation. Use “infodoodling" to learn more effectively, get relevant insights and dive into your world in an entirely different way. Students will use the museum to practice their infodoodling skills while learning about various stories in African American history. Non-artists are not only welcomed but will receive exuberant high-fives for showing up.
