About this Event
This program is part of an 8-week music program series that will occur at NMAAHC on Wednesdays at 11:00am. Registration is required for each program and will open one week prior to each program date, beginning June 12. Designed for ages 0-6 years / all are welcome!

Tamika Love Jones presents Little Treasures, an educational and interactive journey for babies and children that explores a special box of little treasures. Each treasure that is picked from the box will lead tots and parents to sing their favorite songs, read fun stories and explore their bodies through exciting movement. The theme of Little Treasures is self-love and teaching the tots that they, too, are little treasures!

As a native Washington, DC artist, Tamika Love Jones has captivated audiences for over a decade in a variety of venues, from Bloombars to The Kennedy Center and Constitution Hall. Tamika uplifts social justice issues and encourages community empowerment through music, starting with the youngest audiences. To date, she has released three albums of original music incorporating Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Blues and Classical influences. Tamika’s ability to exhibit dramatic stage presence, acrobatic vocals and fluidity of various genres has put her in a class all her own, and she is a sought-after Teaching Artist in communities around Washington, DC.
