Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, and Allison Russell debut their highly anticipated Smithsonian Folkways recording "Songs of Our Native Daughters" which pulls from 17th- , 18th- , and 19th-century sources to shine new light on African American stories of struggle, resistance, and hope. This program is part of the Smithsonian Year of Music.
