It is finding and effectively utilizing quality primary and secondary sources. This workshop will guide student participants of NHD through an interactive research experience, simulating the overall process for conducting historical research on a project. Students will learn methods and improve skills on finding, accessing, analyzing, and evaluating primary and secondary sources by investigating examples from historic Washington D.C. We highly encourage students to bring along a parent/guardian or educator who will participate with them during some of the activities.
