Enjoy an excellent program that explores the sacred and secular music of the maestro, Ray Charles. The evening will include musical performance and insights from scholars of Mr. Charles’ great output including John Hasse, Curator of American Music, National Museum of American History; Tammy Kernodle, Musicologist, Miami University of Ohio; Dwandalyn Reece, Ph.D., Curator of Music, and the Performing Arts, and Kevin Strait, Ph.D. History, both of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
