Join us as we welcome Dr. Bettye Kearse to talk about her new book, The Other Madisons. Kearse shares her story of learning her family’s connection to the 4th president and becoming an 8th generation griotte. Come learn about Kearse’s journey around the country and around the world to cultivate a deeper understanding of her family’s history.

Bettye Kearse is an author, and essayist, and a former pediatrician and geneticist. She has recently retired to New Mexico after working as a pediatrician in Boston for 31 years.
