About this Event
An elegy is a poem that reflects upon death or loss.

Join NMAAHC Museum Specialist, Tulani Salahu-Din and international slam poetry champion, Anthony McPherson to explore the art of poetry and history. In this workshop, participants will look at examples of elegies, and spend time composing an individual work inspired by the life and lynching of Matthew Williams.

No experience necessary. Registration is required as space is limited.
