On April 15, 2022 the Museum celebrated the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson integrating Major League Baseball. The Museum hosted a live panel conversation to discuss how this moment has had considerable impact on the American landscape of sports, with other professional leagues following in racial integration, and expanding opportunities for women in sports. Justin Tinsley, senior cultural writer with Andscape moderated the conversation with professional softball player AJ Andrews, Elaine Weddington Steward, Vice President / Club Counsel for the Boston Red Sox, Howard University professor Greg Carr, and the museum's Curator of Sports, Damion Thomas.
