Highlights from the Event

Join us for a docent-led tour to get a fresh look into the Museum's featured object. At each of these 15-minute talks visitors will hear incredibly big stories about a big object.

About this Program:  During this program we’ll consider a salvaged mural from the Resurrection City—a 1968 anti-poverty protest camp. Visitors will discover how America’s cultural diversity comes forth in the mural and come to understand how the National Mall has served as a site for the public to express concerns about American society.
