The Museum invites you to enjoy an evening of stories and music. Tune in to a discussion between Dwandalyn R. Reece, the Associate Director of Humanities at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and Krystal Klingenberg, music curator for the National Museum of American History, as they engage in lively conversation about how objects can expand our understanding of the ways African American music-making continues to shape and influence society.
This evening’s presentation will be enhanced by live music by Rex Carnegie and the House Band, who be covering artists represented in the Museum’s collection.
