Participants will learn essential block printing techniques, explore adding typographic elements, and create their own unique prints that blend the beauty of print making with the power of words.

Block Printing Kit contains:

• (1) 3”x4” rubber carving block
• (1) Lino carving tool set
• (2) Water-based inks
• (2) Foam Rollers
• (1) Alphabet stamp kit
• Assorted paper, cardstock and tracing paper
• Instruction Booklet

Participants should have on hand:

• Assorted pencils, pens and markers
• Ink pad
• Plastic or glass dinner plate for inking
• Sheets of white printer paper
• Scissors or X-acto blade
• Wooden or metal spoon for burnishing
• Newspaper or table covering to protect work surface
• Apron or wear clothing that might get inky
