A wooden four poster bed frame with head board and foot board. The side rails screw into the frame providing greater strength and limited hiding places for vermin. This type of frame is known as the "Boyd Bedstead."
A metal bunk bed for cell no. 3 from Camp A at Angola prison. The bunk bed has lipped edges for mattresses. The bed is supported by two long metal legs along the left side. On the right side on both the top and bottom bunks at the front and back are supports with holes so that the bed can be bolted to wall of prison cell.
