- Description
- Black fascinator with ostrich feathers designed by Mae Reeves. The fascinator has a form with rigid metal edges filled with black plastic mesh. The top exterior of the form is faced with black velvet. Small black feathers are attached on the exterior of the form. Very large black ostrich feathers are attached to a Styrofoam ball by the quills, with the ball glued to the velvet on the form at the center back so that the feathers drape forward and to the sides, but not to the back. A black net veil is attached to the form and covers the smaller feathers, extending half-way down the wearer's face. An ivory fabric designer label with black printed text is adhered to the center back interior of the form that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".

- Description
- Black and gold fascinator (a) with veil, feathers, and pin (b) designed by Mae Reeves. The body of the fascinator is a formed from black plastic net into a circular cap with a flat top faced in a black and metallic gold floral brocade and decorated with yellow rhinestones and black beads. A large cluster of black feathers is attached at the center front with a large metal pin (b) in a design of leaves interlocked in a circle pinned in front of the feathers. Black net veil is sewn in the interior covering the black plastic hat form, with veiling extending beyond the cap edges all around, including a longer section at the front. Loops of elastic thread are sewn at each interior side with a brown plastic comb attached to each loop for securing the fascinator to the wearer's head. A white fabric label with black printed text is adhered to the interior center back that reads "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".

- Description
- Black velvet fascinator decorated with silver and faux pearl beads attributed to Mae Reeves. It is shaped with a wide front that turns downward and is open at the top back where the sides meet without closing completely. The interior is made from a stiff material with wire around the edges. The top is faced in black velvet with rows of silver seed beads and round faux pearl beads sewn around the front and along the sides and back. Pairs of silver seed beads are scattered across the center top. The fascinator is lined in black faille. There are no labels.
