    Description
    A 2005 West Point class ring owned by 2nd Lieutenant Emily J. T. Perez. The ring is 14k gold. The top of the ring has a dark yellow, marquise-cut semi-precious stone in the center outlined by eight diamonds with dark yellow stones arranged at the top, bottom and sides of the center stone. Engraved around the head of the ring on the shoulders is “WEST POINT” and “2005.” One side of ring has the West Point crest engraved on the shank. The crest depicts an eagle with wings spread above the plumed helmet of Pallas Athena. The helmet is over a Greek sword. Scrolls are on both sides of the eagle’s body bearing West Point’s motto. The left side scrolls read “DUTY / HONOR / COUNTRY.” The scrolls on the right side read “WEST POINT / MDCCCII / USMA.” The other side of the ring has the graduating class of 2005 crest. The crest depicts an eagle over an American Flag and crossed swords. Above the eagle is “05” and “KEEPING FREEDOM ALIVE.” Engraved below the eagle is “USMA.” Engraved along the inside of the band on the bridge of the ring is “Emily J. T. Perez / All Through Christ.” Engraved on the inside of the ring along the base of the shank is “Balfour 14K.”

    Description
    West Virginia Indoor Games first place medal for the Running Broad Jump event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1935. The medal consists of a gold toned pin holding a yellow and blue striped ribbon. The pin has a “c” clasp closure on the back and a bar that hold the ribbon. The ribbon is looped through the bars and held in place with thread at the bottom corners of the pin. The medal is octagonal, gold colored, and has a round bezel attached to two (2) jump rings. In the center of the obverse of the medal is a relief depiction of a tablet with an athlete in mid-jump. The athlete is depicted in full length facing the left edge of the medal. His proper right arm is extended in front of him and his proper left arm is behind him. His torso is bent and his legs are extended in front of him. A sunburst patterns surrounds the tablet. The medal has an outer band decorated with a floral pattern. At each vertex of the octagon is a fleur-de-lis embellishment. At the bottom of the medal is relief text that reads, [WEST VIRGINIA / INDOOR GAMES / 1935]. The back of the pin is stamped [PAT / BALFOUR / APLD FOR]. On the reverse of the medal, engraved in the center, is text that reads [COLLEGE AND / UNIVERSITY / DIVISION / RUNNING / BROAD JUMP / FIRST]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark that reads, [BALFOUR].

    Description
    West Virginia Indoor Games third place medal for the Sprint Series event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1935. The medal consists of a gold toned pin holding a yellow and blue striped ribbon. The pin has a “c” clasp closure on the back and a bar that hold the ribbon. The ribbon is looped through the bars and held in place with thread at the bottom corners of the pin. The medal is octagonal, gold colored, and has a round bezel attached to two (2) jump rings. In the center of the obverse of the medal is a relief depiction of a tablet with three (3) male runners. The runners are depicted in full length, facing the viewer, and in mid-run. The runner in front is bare chested and wearing a loincloth. His arms are extended out to his sides. There are two (2) runners behind him, similarly attired. A sunburst patterns surrounds the tablet. The medal has an outer band decorated with a floral pattern. At each vertex of the octagon is a fleur-de-lis embellishment. At the bottom of the medal is relief text that reads, [WEST VIRGINIA / INDOOR GAMES / 1935]. The back of the pin is stamped [PAT / BALFOUR / APLD FOR]. On the reverse of the medal, engraved in the center, is text that reads [COLLEGE AND / UNIVERSITY / DIVISION / SPRINT SERIES / THIRD]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped hallmark that reads, [BALFOUR].

    Description
    Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus, William C. Prout Memorial Games gold medal awarded for the 50 Yard Dash event to Eulace Peacock in 1939. The medal consists of a gold toned pin holding a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to a gold toned medal. The pin has a “C” clasp closure on the back and a bar that hold the ribbons. The ribbons are crimped to the front of the bar at each corner. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a rectangular medal held in place with two (2) jump rings. In the center of the obverse of the medal is a relief depiction of a male runner in mid-run. He is facing the viewer and is wearing a short sleeve shirt and shorts. He is running on a track in a stadium. At the runner’s feet are an Olympic torch and a palm frond. The runner is framed on either side with Ionic columns. The column capital on the right is draped with cloth. The top and bottom of the medal has relief text that reads [WILLIAM C. PROUT] and [MEMORIAL GAMES]. And between the column and the runner on the left is vertical text that reads [K / OF / C / · / M / A / S / S]. The back of the medal has engraved text at the top center the reads, [50 YDS DASH / 1939]. Along the bottom edge of the medal is a stamped maker’s mark that reads [BALFOUR].

Both athletes are depicted mid-run with the athlete on the left handing a baton to the athlete on the right. Printed in relief around the central figures is the text, [ATLANTIC CITY · H · S · RELAY CARNIVAL].     Atlantic City High School Relay Carnival gold medal for the College Freshmen One Mile Relay event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1934. The medal consists of a gold toned pin holding a blue and white striped ribbon attached to a medal. The pin has a “C” clasp closure on the back and a bar that holds the ribbon. The ribbon is looped over the bar and held in place with thread at the bottom corners of the pin and gathered on a jump ring at the bottom. The medal is clover-shaped, gold colored, and has a round bezel attached to the jump ring. In the center of the obverse of the medal is a relief depiction of two (2) male athletes in full length. Both athletes are depicted mid-run with the athlete on the left handing a baton to the athlete on the right. Printed in relief around the central figures is the text, [ATLANTIC CITY · H · S · RELAY CARNIVAL]. On the reverse of the medal, engraved in the center, is text that reads [COLLEGE FRESHMEN / ONE MILE RELAY / 1934]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark that reads, [BALFOUR].

    Description
    Chicago Relays first place medal for the 50 Yard Sprint event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1937. The gold medal is round and is attached to two (2) round jump rings. The obverse of the medal has a semicircular band of relief text at the top that reads [CHICAGO RELAYS]. In the center of the medal is a relief depiction of a male in bust pose, depicted in profile facing the left edge of the medal with his chin slightly lifted. His shoulders are nude. A relief of a laurel garland, attached to rectangular mounts on either side of the man’s shoulders, runs along the bottom edge of the medal. Behind him is a twenty-five (25) ray sun motif. The reverse of the medal has relief text that reads [1937 / SPONSORED BY / THE CHICAGO DAILY NEWS / INTERNATIONAL AMIPTHEATER]. Below is engraved text that reads [50 YD / SPRINT / 1ST]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark for Balfour that reads [1/10-10K-G.F. / BALFOUR].
