- Purcell Conway recalls growing up in St. Augustine, Florida, and working many odd jobs. He recalls facing discrimination, participating in demonstrations, and witnessing a riot when attempting to integrate the beach. He also discusses moving to New York City, his career as a police officer, and successfully suing the city for discrimination in promotions.
