- Description
- A hand-colored albumen print of Mari¯i?a? F?eodorovna, or Princess Dagmar, shown in bust portrait. Her body is facing with her left side foremost and her head is turned to the front. Her hair is gathered in a snood behind her head with a gold band and a red bow on top of her head. She wears an evening gown with a ruffled yoke that is painted red with green ribbons. She wears several strands of pearls around her neck.
- Handwritten in graphite along the bottom of the print is the text "Sister of Princess of Wales". Printed in ink below the print is the text "PRINCESS DAGMAR".
- The print is housed in the album 2017.30. The album page has a triple-lined, gold border framing the print. Handwritten in graphite inside the bottom border of the printed frame of the album page is the text "Princess Dagmar".
