This is a broadside with the poem "Ego Tripping" signed by the author. Shaped as a long narrow rectangle, the broadside has the title in large letters along the left margin. At the base of the title is an image of the author. Wearing dark clothing, and shown in profile, she crouches with her elbows on her knees and turns her head towards the viewer. Across the top margin are four small images of four different women. Running down the length of the broadside is the poem's text. At the bottom of the text is the author's signature, done by hand in pen.
This is a broadside with reprints of two poems, hand signed by the author. Consisting of a long rectangular piece of cardboard with reddish brown text, it shows an image of a desk microphone at the center top margin. Next to the microphone are the words "the/ Spoken/ Word." Below the image are the words "Presented by The Camberly Collection/ January 24, 2003/ The Academy of Medicine/ Atlanta, Georgia." The two poems are presented down the center of the broadside. It is hand signed "Nikki Giovanni" in black ink at the last line of the bottom poem. Underneath the signature is the edition number, handwritten in black ink "205/400."
