- The ID badge features a rectangular headshot of Simone Manuel on the proper right side. To her left is reads [Rio 2016] with the Rio Olympic logo above it and the five Olympic rings below. There is a green rectangle with white text which reads [Aa]. On the bottom right corner of the photo there is a silver Rio 2016 sticker which reads [Rio 2016 / TM RIO 2016] and [Official Accreditation]. Below the photo there is black text which reads [Simone MANUEL / ATHLETE / ATLETA / UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / ESTADOS UNIDOS DA AMÉRICA]. Below the text there is an Olympic ring logo, a symbol of a form, plate, and knife, the letters “TA”, the letters “CDM”, and a barcode with numbers above it. There are more letter combinations below. There is a blue rectangle at the bottom with white numbers and letters inside. There is a curvy design on the background of the badge.
- On the back of the badge there are three paragraphs with rules and guidelines. Each paragraph is in a different language. There is another photo with Simone Ashley Manuel with text and symbols. The bottom has the same blue rectangle as the front, with “A”, “2”, and “R” in white text.
- The credentials ID badge is in a clear plastic sleeve. The plastic has a small, thin cutout at the top. There are two holes at the top, one on either side. There are two metal clips, one in each of the holes. The clips are attached to a dark green lanyard. The two fabric lanyard straps are attached by a black plastic snap-in clip at the top. There are yellow curved line patterns on the lanyard. There is also white text which reads [Rio 2016] and [Atos]. There are also Olympic rings in white.

- A poster advocating the boycott of the 1968 Summer Olympics. The poster has a white background and black text and design. At the top text surrounding the Olympic rings reads: [Olympic Games]. The drawing depicts outlines of the United States and Africa; raised fists come out from the inner edges of the outlines. - A copy of the book, The Revolt of the Black Athlete, written by Harry Edwards. The front cover of the book features an image of Tommie Smith and Juan Carlos raising their fists in the air at the medal ceremony during the 1968 Summer Olympics. Text above the image reads: [Harry Edwards / The Revolt Of The Black Athlete]. The book consists of 202 pages of text and photographs. The title page has several library inscriptions and a library sticker. The back of the last page has a library card slip. The back of the book has a photograph taken by Ted Streshinsky of Harry Edwards and an unidentified man. The photograph features the two men talking. Only the back of the man to the right of the image is visible. Edwards, the man at center, wears a dark jacket with pins and a dark beret and sunglasses. - Description
- An Olympic torch from the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
- A disc-shaped stainless steel torch. There is a small hole in the center. There is engraved text going around the center reading [* ALS DANK DEM TRAGER *] and [ORGANISATIONS KOMITEE FÜR DIE XI OLYMPIADE DE BERLIN 1936]. The underside of the circle has engraved text which reads [KRUPP NIROSTA V2A STAHL] and [STIFTUNG DER FRIED. KRUPP A,G., ESSEN].
- Extending from the center of the cylindrical stainless steel shaft to serve as handle, which widens into a small circular base at the end. At the top of one side of the handle is an engraving of an eagle holding the five connected Olympic rings in its talons. The words below read [FACKEL - STAFFEL - LAUF / OLYMPIA - BERLIN / 1936]. Beneath this is an engraved mapping of cities represented by circles connected via two lines. The map starts at the bottom of the shaft below the eagle and goes up and over to the top of the handle on the other side. The cities are as follows: [OLYMPIA], [ATHENS], [DELPHI], [SALON], [SOFIA], [BELGRAD], [BELARUS], [WIEN], [PRAG], [DRESDEN], [BERLIN].

- Description
- Official Program from The Games of the XVIII Olympiad Tokyo 1964. The program has a white cover with black, gold, and red print. In the left side of the program there is a gold circle, followed by the Olympic rings and [TOKYO 1964], all in gold ink. A red bar runs along the left edge and features drawing of a figure in a sprinting position in white ink. On the right side of the cover has Japanese writings, the numbers [10 / 16] and English type in black and red print. The English text reads: [THE GAMES OF THE XVIII OLYMPIAD TOKYO / ATHLETICS / OFFICIAL PROGRAMME / THE NATIONAL STADIUM]. [No. 3] is featured in the bottom right corner. The interior consists of 60 pages of text with Japanese, French, and English writing. The pages contain athletes’ names, event information, stadium information, and blank memo pages and event score boxes. The back cover has the same illustration of the gold circle, Olympic rings, text, and sprinter as the front along the right edge.

- A 1964 Tokyo Olympic Competitor badge and case. The competitor badge (2017.56.9a) has a metal sun on a square that is gold in color. Below the sun, a green bar has gold colored type that reads: [TOKYO 1964]. The Olympic rings are in between the text. Below the green bar, two orange strips of ribbon is attached to the gold square. A blue bar runs across the orange ribbons and reads: [COMPETITOR]. The orange ribbon continues below the blue bar and ends at a crisscross at the bottom. The back of the badge has a pin and clasp at the top. There is Japanese writing etched on the back of the square. The case (2017.56.9b) is white with a gold design. The front of the case has a gold circle at the top, followed by gold Olympic rings. Below the rings there is gold lettering that reads: [Tokyo 1964]. The case opens at a hinge at the top. The interior has a felt base where the competitor badge rests. The back of the case is blank.

- An Olympic bronze medal from the 1960 Rome Games. The medal is molded with figures in relief on the obverse and reverse. The obverse side features a seated woman, representing Lady Victory, dressed in a flowing robe and holding a palm frond in her left hand and a winner's crown of leaves above her head. A coliseum is visible behind her. To her left a block of text appears in relief. The reverse features a male figure reaching out while hoisted on the shoulders of other men with a stadium visible in the background. The medal is surrounded by a circular bronze molded laurel wreath with a flat banner at the bottom. On the obverse the banner is blank while on the reverse it is engraved with the word [ATLETICA]. Stamped on the left edge of the coin is a small line of text. At the top of the medal is a pair of hooks. The medal is held somewhat loosely in the wreath in 4 separate brackets.

- Description
- A diploma from the 1960 Olympics in Rome awarded to Richard Wayne Howard. The diploma is a color print of a stone plaque on a stylized brick wall. The plaque is central with the logo of the 1960 Olympics on the left side. The logo features the Olympic rings capped with a statue of the Capitoline Wolf and the date in Roman numerals [MCMLX]. Text is printed in Italian in the central panel that recognizes Howard as the winner of the Bronze Medal in the Men's 400 M Hurdles. The diploma is signed by the International Olympic Committee president Avery Brundage and by the Organizational Committee president Giulio Andreotti. The back of the diploma is blank.

- Description
- A torch from the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. The torch consists of four parts (a-d). The top portion is constructed of a circle of silver metal spokes that fan out at the top. There is a gold metal band, 2" wide, around the torch where the spokes begin to fan out. The band is engraved with a leaf design and two Atlanta 1996 Olympic logos, a torch with the base made of Olympic rings and the number 100. The bottom portion of the torch is wooden, with a gold ring around the top and bottom. The heating element is inside the torch. There is a metal and plastic piece at the bottom, for joining the top portion with the bottom portion of the torch.

- A framed collection of four Olympic Games gold medalist pins awarded to Carl Lewis. The frame is painted gold and black and has a red fabric lining on the interior. There are four square insets running along the middle center of the frame into which the pins are set. Each pin is from a different Olympic Summer Games, the years 1984, 1988, 1992, and 1996 are represented. The pins are gold and show the Olympic rings with a banner displaying the year underneath. Each pin is attached to its original square piece of cardstock, which is printed with information including the olympiad number, year, medal grade, venue, and serial number.

The obverse side features a seated woman, representing Lady Victory, dressed in a flowing robe and holding a palm frond in her left hand and a winner's crown of leaves above her head. A coliseum is visible behind her. To her left the words [XXIII / OLYMPIAD / LOS ANGELES / 1984] appear in relief. The reverse features a male figure reaching out while hoisted on the shoulders of other men with a stadium visible in the background. The rim of the medal is stamped with the words [ATHLETICS 4 X 100 METER RELAY MEN] on its proper left side. The medal is attached by a chain link to a loop of ribbon with two broad striped of turquoise and pink, divided by a thin orange stripe, which is sewn at the top.

To her left the words [XXVI / OLYMPIAD / ATLANTA 1996] appear in relief. The five interlocking Olympic rings appear between [OLYMPIAD] and [ATLANTA]. The reverse features a running human figure at the bottom of the disc, with leaf patterns extending up and curving around the medal. Above the figure is the official torch emblem of the 1996 Summery Olympics, below which reads [100 / Atlanta 1996]. Type circling the medal's border reads [CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC GAMES]. Etched into the rim of the medal are the words [MEN'S LONG JUMP]. A bar extends out of the top of the medal, through which the ribbon has been looped. The ribbon is dark green, trimmed with gold and decorated with a leaf pattern. Embroidered at the top of the ribbon are the words [Atlanta 1996] and the Olympic torch emblem.
