    Description
    Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) gold medal for the Broad Jump event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1935. The medal consists of a gold colored pin holding a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to a gold medal. The gold tone pin is rectangular shaped with a safety pin closure on the back as well as another pin below that holds the ribbon. The front of the pin is a small relief frame with text that reads [CHAMPIONSHIP]. Below the pin is a red, white, and blue ribbon. It is looped through the back bottom pin and held in place with thread. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a round, gold colored medal held in place with a jump ring. The obverse of the medal is edged with two concentric circles. In the center of the medal is a relief depiction of a Greek goddess standing in three quarters profile with her proper right knee resting on a round shield decorated with a seven (7) ray sun motif. Her proper right hand is extended, holding a laurel wreath, and draped over her proper left forearm are two additional wreaths. Printed in relief around the central figure is the text [AMATEUR ATHLETIC UNION OF THE UNITED STATES MDCCCLXXXVIII]. The reverse of the medal is also edged with two concentric circles. A relief depiction of a laurel wreath interlaced with sporting equipment runs around almost the full outer edge of the circle. At the top is the text [CHAM] and [PION] divided by a winged cleated shoe. Inscribed in the center of the medal is engraved text that reads [1935 / BROAD JUMP]. There is maker's mark printed in relief on the bottom edge of the medal that reads [DIEGES & CLUST].

    An Arbeidernes TIF (Workers' Gymnastics and Sports Association) medal owned by Eulace Peacock. The gold toned medal is shield shaped, and is hanging from a bar by two (2) chains. The medal consists of gold toned bar pin with a “C” clasp closure holding a red ribbon with two (2) white and one (1) blue stripes, and a medal suspended from two (2) short chains. The medal has a white enamel shield on the front, surrounded by a gold toned, relief laurel wreath. The shield in inlaid with white enamel. There is blue inlaid text at the top of the shield [T·I·F] and a date in gold text below [30·6·1909]. On either side on the shield is an abstract, geometric depiction of two (2) red and gold enameled eagles linked by a square knot at the bottom of the shield. On the back of the bar is a stamped maker’s mark that reads [BRILLANT / 830 S]. The reverse of the medal, near the bottom edge, is an additional stamped maker’s mark that reads [BRILLANT / 830 S].

    Description
    Union County Meet medal awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1935. The medal consists of a gold toned bar pin holding a red and white striped ribbon. The pin has a “C” clasp closure on the back and a bar that holds the ribbon. The ribbon is crimped to the front of the bar on either side. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is an octagonal, gold colored medal held in place with two (2) jump rings. In a circular frame in the center of the obverse of the medal is a relief depiction of three (3) male athletes depicted in profile. All three athletes are nude and a facing the left side of the medal. They are standing on their proper left legs, with their proper right legs held horizontally to the ground behind them. Their proper right arms are extended in front of them and they hold their proper left arms their sides. The background surface of the metal is leather textured. The center of the reverse of the medal is inscribed ['35 / UNION COUNTY / MEET / SPRINT SERIES]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark that reads, [BRADSHAW / NEWARK / N.J.].

On the reverse of the medal is a relief depiction of a laurel branch and an inscription that reads, [75 YD. / DASH / GS / Class B / Boys]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark for Dieges & Clust, an eagle’s head in profile above three spearhead shaped banners with the text [D], [&], and [C] stamped inside each banner. Below is the text, [DIEGES & CLUST].

    Description
    National Collegiate Athletic Association second place medal for the 100 Yard Dash event awarded to Eulace Peacock in 1935. The medal consists of a gold toned pin holding a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to a gold medal. The pin has a “c” clasp closure on the back and a bar that hold the ribbon. The ribbon is crimped to the front of the bar on either side. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a round, gold colored medal with wavy edges, held in place with two (2) jump rings. On the obverse of the medal is relief depiction of a nude male athlete, depicted in three quarters profile, facing the right edge of the medal. His proper left arm is extended in front of him and he is holding a laurel branch. His proper right arm is held at his side. Next to him, also depicted in profile, is a bald eagle perched on a column decorated with the United States flag’s stars and stripes. The eagle’s wings are extended. Relief text printed on the left side of the medal reads [U.S.] and relief text on the right reads [NATIONAL / COLLEGIATE / ATHLETIC / ASSOCIATION]. The edges of the medal are decorated with scroll and floral embellishments. On the reverse of the medal, at the top center, is engraved text that reads [2nd Place / 100 yd. Dash]. Below is relief text that reads [HELD AT / EDWARDS FIELD / UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA / BEREKLEY / 1935]. Below the text is a relief depiction of a laurel wreath tied together with a bow. Above the wreath’s center knot is the relief maker’s mark, [J&W. S.F.].
