- Description
- This real photo postcard features an image of a man riding a horse at the Salinas Rodeo. The man is is on horseback near the white fence that frames the rodeo arena. He is holding a hat in his right hand. The horse is attempting to buck his rider and has its head down and its front hooves off of the ground. The following text is written on the top left of the image [CROCKETT / RIDING / MOUNT TORO. / SALINAS / RODEO / 1919]. Text in the bottom right corner reads [PHOTO #4 / (C) BY MARCELL]. The word [POST CARD] is printed at the top with the words [CORRESPONDENCE] and [ADDRESS] separating the card into two sections. Text marks the spot for postage in the top right corner. The word [AZO] repeats forming a square with a triange in each corner. The words [PLACE / STAMP / HERE] are printed inside the square. The remains of black paper appear on the back of the postcard in five places.
