A mechanical coin bank in the form of a bust and arm of a caricatured boy. The boy has yellow eyes and red lips, white teeth and a wide open mouth. He is wearing a red jacket with white trim and a blue bow tie. His jacket has three (3) chevrons on the right sleeve and a yellow cuff. Only the front of the jacket is painted. A lever is located on the back of the boy's proper left arm. The palm of his right hand is a flat semicircle, to fit a coin. When the lever is pressed, the right arm raises, his tongue depresses, his eyes close, and his ears rotate backwards. There is a round hole located in the bottom of the bank. White sticker with writing in blue ink on the bottom that reads [$60].
A long-bristled clothes brush with a handle in the form of a caricatured woman. The woman’s head and body are two, round wood shapes. Her face is painted black with white eyes and a red mouth and she is wearing a yellow hat. A discolored white ribbon is tied around the neck in a bow. Her body is painted yellow. A scalloped edged black collar has been painted around the neck. There are five (5) circular buttons painted down the center of the body. Tan bristles are attached through numerous holes in the bottom of the handle, forming her skirt.
A ceramic string holder in the form of "Mammy." The holder is painted and glazed. “Mammy” is depicted wearing a red kerchief and cream colored dress with green vertical and red horizontal stripes. Her hands are clasped in front of her waist. A circular hole, the string dispenser, in the center of her chest just above hands. The back of the string holder is unpainted ceramic with an open cavity in the center. The inside of the cavity is painted cream and glazed. There is an oval-shaped hole in the top of the back, under where the red kerchief is painted. A keyhole shaped piece of ceramic is adhered inside at the head. Lettering along the bottom edge of the back reads [U.S.A. / S. Co.]
