A large rectangular worker's time clock used by the R. H. Boyd Publishing Company. The front of clock has a large metal wheel with small black encircled numbers. Behind the large metal wheel is a clock featuring roman numerals and an AM/PM dial. Black type on the clock reads, “INTERNATIONAL / TIME RECORDING CO. / OF NEW YORK / ENDICOTT, N.Y.” The time clock has two doors with glass windows on both sides that show the inner workings of the clock. The inside of the clock has a large paper roll that works as a time sheet. Above the roll of paper in the front of the clock the days of the week are listed. Two “T” shaped metal winding keys (2013.208b and c) are also inside the clock. A faded label on the bottom of the interior of the clock has shipping information, model number, serial number and a statement of guaranty as well as other information printed on it.
Printing plate for a diploma mounted on wood. The plate has a thick border around the edges. The plate is a reverse image of the final printing. The top has several lines of text that read “National Sunday School And B.T. U. Congress / of The / NATIONAL BAPTIST CONVENTION to AMERICA / Presents This.” Paragraphs of text are on either side of this. A small graphic of an open book is also at the top of the plate. Text in the graphic reads “CHRISTIAN WORKER'S DIPLOMA.” The lower half of the plate has additional text with blanks provided for the recipient’s information, the date and the conveyor’s signature. A narrow rectangular hole is in the wood backing at the top.

The top third of the cover has a black rectangle with the title of the journal printed in white text. Below the black printed rectangle is the volume number, date, and issue number. The contents of the journal are printed in a rounded square at the center of the cover. The contents are titled Exchange, International Lessons, Lights on the Lesson, Editorial Reflections. Publication information including price, address, and publisher details are printed at the bottom of the cover. Below the publishing information, are two lines of printed text. The top line reads “PRINCES SHALL COME OUT OF EGYPT.” The bottom line reads “ETHIOPIA SHALL SOON STRETCH OUT HER HANDS UNTIL GOD.” The back cover of the publication has an advertisement for hair coloring products from the Black Strand Company.
