    Description
    This dance costume consists of a dark teal hooded tunic shirt (.1) and a pair of silver leggings (.2) worn by Mikayla Amin during a spring recital for Studio A Dance Academy at Morgan State University. The shirt (.1) is made from a dark teal cotton, polyester, and spandex knit fabric. It has cap sleeves with a rolled edge sewn in place and a cowl neck with a hood. Large silver grommets are sewn around the waist band, with a black nylon tied belt. The back hem of the shirt is slightly longer than the front. A manufacturer's label with size, content, and style information is sewn at the interior proper left side seam near the hem. Black hanger loops are sewn at each interior side shoulder seam.
    The leggings (.2) are made from metallic silver nylon and spandex with an elastic waist band. Lengths of the black nylon fabric of the belt on the shirt are sewn in a crisscross pattern across the front of the proper right leg and the back of the proper left leg below the knees. A manufacturer's label with size, content, and style information is sewn at the interior center back waist. Black hanger loops are sewn at each interior side waist.

    Description
    A large necklace pendant attached to a lanyard (A2018.98.1.2.2) worn by dancer Charles Rudolph Davis, also known as Baba Chuck. The pendant is comprised of two (2) pieces: a large spoon shaped piece and a squat column shaped piece. The large spoon shaped piece has a roughly oval shaped body that narrows at the shoulders of the spoon to a rounded off point at the top. The point at the top is decorated with a molded floral pattern: two (2) five (5) petal flowers and a rose. The top of the spoon pendant has a small hole that is threaded through with a jump ring, attached to a teardrop shaped bail. The body of the spoon pendant is polished silver with cutouts shaped like Africa and Madagascar. The name [BabaChuck], in silver, runs across the top half of the Africa cut out. There are two (2) small round perforations at the bottom of the spoon pendant where it is attached it to the squat column shaped piece with three (3) jump rings on each side. The squat column shaped piece has an ovular cutout in the middle with a depiction of a stylized dancer, depicted in full length profile. The back of the pendant is undecorated.

    Description
    A black and white photograph is of Sharita Mae Hunt performing as the Lady in Orange, and Roxanne Reese performing as the Lady in Brown. Both women are smiling exuberantly and dancing. Hunt is in the foreground, her head cocked to her left side, both hands on the skirt of her dress, swinging the fabric as she dances. Reese is in the background, her left arm raised in front of her body. There is a large flower in the background behind them, as part of the production design. The photograph was taking during the Broadway production of for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf. This photograph is glued to mounting paper; another photograph from the production is on the reverse side.

    Description
    A lanyard necklace attached to a large Africa-shaped pendant (A2018.98.1.2.1) worn by dancer Charles Rudolph Davis, also known as Baba Chuck. The lanyard is black and is constructed from round braided nylon. The lanyard is attached to the pendant by two (2) lanyard hooks clipped to the bail of the pendant. The silver toned landyard hooks are looped through the ends of each hook and the loops are held in place with silver toned metal crimps.
