The constitution begins with Article II which reads [The object and purpose of this organization is to organize and train the lay members....] before stating objectives a-h. The second page has a history of Bethel A.M.E. Church lay organization from 1941-1990. Committee members are listed on the last page. There is an inscription [554 B] on the reverse. The papers have a crease in the middle from being folded.

The program is made from a single sheet of paper folded in half vertically to form four pages. On the front is the main information about the conference. The interior pages contain the schedules for both days of the conference, detailing various reports and their presenters. The back page continues the schedule and has information regarding committees and a notice about levels of monetary support for different sized congregations.

C. Wayne Love, Minister] printed in black in the center. The price is listed as twenty-five (25) cents. The edges of the cover are discolored. There is an image of the church inside the front cover. The first article begins [NINETY YEAR OF PROGRESS...]. The program is for the eighty-seventh (87th) session of the California Conference of the A.M.E. Church. There are twenty-four (24) pages and a list of patrons on the interior back cover. The reverse is blank.
This pre-printed unused certificate is for the appointment of a pastor of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The form has text printed in black ink and dotted lines to fill in the name of the person, their place of appointment, the date, and the signature of the presiding bishop. A dark blue seal is printed in the lower left corner. The text and the seal are surrounded by a decorative printed border. The reverse is blank.
