and them selves ill treated. They object to paying persons who continually insult them. call him "Niggers" rap her children on the head with heavy sticks. and totally neglect every thing connected with their vocations except the collection of the salary of the office.
Choice of Teachers
The Freed people ask the choice of teachers because as in the cases cited in the appendix to this report. they want perver to retain a friendly and dispense with an unfriendly or incompetent teacher
School Property
There is an immense deal of Property in the closed school houses: and I have been notified, to remove some of it. Unless it is removed, it will be lost, stolen, or destroyed
