Description
A pink and white lace dress with rhinestones and bow by Peter Davy. The light pink dress has leg of mutton sleeves with puffs at the shoulders and sleeves that taper towards the wrist. It is mid-length and trumpets out at the bottom. The body of the dress has a light pink synthetic knit and is covered in a layer of floral cream synthetic machine lace.
The dress has a rounded neckline with a deep V-neck cut out covered in cream synthetic machine lace that extends to the waistline. Iridescent glass rhinestones are set in along the lace surface and the deep v cut out is trimmed with silver plastic sequins and clear plastic seed beads. Self-fabric knit pink piping edges both the front and back of the rounded neckline. Iridescent glass rhinestones also edge each sleeve cuff. The front of the dress has a body con silhouette made from one panel with two 3" bust darts and two 16" shaping darts.
The skirt has a trumpet silhouette and there is a large thick pink padded bow on the front where the skirt flares out. The bow is the same width as the body of the dress and is padded with layers of fabric, likely synthetic organza. The hemline has been machine surged, folded under once, and secured with a straight stitch.
The back of the dress features a deep v neckline that is edged with pink synthetic knit. A 10.5" metal zipper with plastic teeth secures the center back. There are two panels for the back of the dress. There are two 15" shaping darts on either backside of the dress.
The construction of the pink synthetic lining matches the outer construction of the lace. There are two hanging loops (one at each shoulder) made from the same pink synthetic knit fabric. The top of the sleeves are lined with one panel of white synthetic organza to add additional volume. There is no label, but the dress is made by Peter Davy.
