Description
A red floral sheath dress with bishop sleeves. The full length dress is made of silk chiffon printed floral in red, white, pink, and grey. Machine embroidery made with synthetic thread of meandering curvilineal lines and circles covers the surface of the silk chiffon. The dress has a draped boatneck collar and set in bishop sleeves with elastic at the cuffs. Three darts are sewn on each side of the center front bodice starting at the waistline with gathering sewn on the skirt panel underneath. The skirt panel has a center front seam that is off set to the proper left. This seam is unstitched eighteen and a half inches below the waistline creating a slit that continues to the hem. Four plastic faceted buttons with four fabric loops are attached to the center back of the collar. Underneath the collar is a center back plastic zipper with a metal pull that leads into the center back seam. Two darts are sewn on each side of the center back bodice starting at the waistline with gathering sewn on the skirt panel underneath. The dress is lined in light pink silk and the hem is whip stitched with pink thread. Pink synthetic knit fabric is sewn in between the silk chiffon and silk lining. Small hanger loops made of chain stitched thread are tacked to the shoulders.
