- Description
- A red newsboy cap by Kangol. The hat crown and sides are composed of one panel of fuzzy, red polyester fabric, shaped into a newsboy style. There is a 1.25” metal circular squatchee at the center top of the hat, covered in a single piece of knitted red polyester fabric. A curved brim constructed from a one piece of fuzzy red polyester material is folded over a stiffener (likely cardboard) and machine sewn at the center front of the hat. The hat features a .25” hem that is folded under and machine stitched into place. Inside the hat is a 75” wide sweatband made from one panel of red elastic that is machine sewn along the interior base of the crown. An ivory fabric label that reads [KANGOL ® / DESIGN / MADE IN ENGLAND] in black text is machine stitched over the interior sweatband, at the center back. There is a large, abstract X behind the text. The inside of the hat is unlined.
