- Description
- An asymmetrical black wool cloche. The hat is constructed of a single piece of blocked wool felt. The top of the hat is rounded and fits closely to the head. The wool felt is draped and creased at the center front of the hat continuing to the proper right side. The hat is longer on the proper right side as it continues down the face ending in a rounded point. A black petersham ribbon and metal wire covered in paper are stitched to edge of the hat at the interior. There is a label at the back of the hat along the inner band that reads [Sandswept 23] in black script. A label is stamped to the inside of the hat at the top of the crown that reads [100% WOOL SANDSWEPT HENRY POLLACK of NEW YORK] in yellow.
