The visor at the center front of the hat is covered in cotton jersey knit and shaped with a stiffener possibly cardboard. The inside of the crown is backed with a synthetic knit, possibly acrylic or polyester. A petersham nylon ribbon is machine stitched along the hat's inner circumference.
