- Description
- A pillbox hat (a) made from black velvet with hat pin (b). The hat is lined with a synthetic silk faille. The interior brim is lined with a rayon Petersham ribbon. At the proper right and proper left of the sweatband, elastic cords are looped through the ribbon with each end anchored with metal aglets. A three- tooth plastic comb is attached to each elastic loop. There is a metal wire sewn along the brim of the hat underneath the Petersham ribbon. There is no label. The hat pin is made from steel and has a round black “head” made from plastic.
