A pale pink open crown hat with fabric flowers. The body of the hat is made of loosely woven rayon. The top of the crown is open, three strands of pale pink raffia are woven at the top of the crown. The brim is made of two layers of light pink rayon hand stitched to the base of crown. The top layer of rayon is pleated at the front of the brim and the weave is slightly tighter than the rayon used to construct the rest of the hat. A band of flowers and buds are tacked to the base of the crown. Three pink and white fabric flowers are attached to the center front of the hat. The pink petals are made of synthetic velveteen and the white petal are made of acetate. Green leaves around the flowers are made of polyester plain weave and metal wire. Four buds made of paper and polyester plain weave are placed towards the back of the hat two on the left and two on the right with a gap at the center back. The brim of the hat is wider in the front than in the back. Six strands of pale pink raffia are woven into the brim closer to the crown. Two more strands of pale pink raffia are woven towards the edge of the brim. Cream velveteen is attached to the edge of the brim. A pink rayon petersham ribbon is hand stitched to the base of the crown at the interior.
