- Description
- A skullcap made from rows of woven straw strips sewn to a net base. A veil made from straw netting is stitched along the entire brim. Blue synthetic flowers with yellow, plastic stamens are attached along the sides and back of the veil. The interior of the hat has an unlined net base. A brown Petersham ribbon is stitched along the interior brim and the bottom of the net veil. A yellow fabric tag stitched to the interior center back reads [Merl, New York. Six East Fifty-Sixth Street]
