- Description
- A green brocade dress with rhinestones, sequins, and beads. Brocade synthetic and metallic thread with organic floral patterning is used to make the dress's exterior. The dress has a band collar and two princess seams that run the length of the dress. The set in sleeves are wrist length and have small slits at the inner seam. On the back of each sleeve there is a dart at the inner sleeve seam below the elbow. Both the sleeves and the collar are adorned with plastic sequins, plastic beads, and glass and plastic rhinestones. Green plastic rhinestones are attached in curved lines that follow the weave of the brocade. Circle and emerald cut glass rhinestones are placed on the flowers and various points of the sleeves and collar. Sequins sewn in the shape of a flower with a string of glass beads at the center are stitched along the sleeves and collar as well. There are two inseam pockets created along the princess seams at hip level. Two seams are located on the back of the dress that mirror the front princess seams. Two metal hooks and three thread eyes are at the center back of the collar. There is a zipper with plastic teeth and a metal pull at the center back of the dress that starts at the bottom of the collar and continues to waist level. The zipper is set into cotton twill tape and hand stitched to the interior of the dress. The brocade used on the exterior of the garment is backed with a pastel green synthetic at the interior. The dress is lined in light green synthetic possibly rayon and follows the same panel construction as the exterior. The hem of the brocade is hand whip stitched. The hem on the lining is finished with wide basting stitches in pink thread. The dress is discolored on the proper right side on the front and back.
