- Description
- A teal sleeveless ankle length dress with flower embroidery. The dress is made of silk synthetic satin, it is fitted at the natural waist and flairs out at the knees. The dress has a wide rounded neckline with two thin self-fabric cord straps sewn at the edges. There is a bust dart and two waist darts on each side of the dress. Embroidery is sewn around the neckline with silk embroidery floss. Satin stitch is used for the flowers and leaves while stem stitch is used for the branches. Plastic rhinestone beads are sewn to the centers of the flowers. The neckline at the back of the dress is lower and more deeply curved than at the front. A metal zipper is sewn to the center back of the dress ending at hip level. Two waist darts are placed on either side of the zipper which mirror the construction at the front of the dress. The edge of the interior is self-faced and is lined with white synthetic fabric. A waist tape made of synthetic ribbon is tacked at the darts along the waistline. A metal hook and eye are sewn to the edge of each ribbon where they attach at the center back. Blue synthetic ribbon hanger loops are tacked along the side seams at the waist tape. The hemline of the dress is finished with synthetic turquoise ribbon secured with herringbone hand stitches. The center back and side seams are pressed open at the interior and finished with blue synthetic ribbon.
