Description
A pink synthetic satin blouse and full-length skirt. The blouse (a) opens at the center front and has long set in sleeves. The sleeves widen towards the wrists, when worn they would be longer at the inner seam. The bodice has a self-fabric tie that is set into the waistline and ties at the center front opening. The bodice widens at the bottom, ending at hip level. Self-fabric facing is sewn to the back of the neckline and the edges of the sleeves. The edges of the center front opening are finished with the fabric’s selvage. A pink synthetic ribbon is stitched along the bodice’s hemline. The garment is entirely machine stitched.
The matching skirt (b) is made of the same pink synthetic satin. The skirt has a sheath silhouette and a seam starting at the proper right that curves over slightly to the front of the garment. The seam turns into a slit that is twenty-five inches long. A circular metal weight is sewn to each side of the slit opening, to help weight the edges of the slit down. The skirt has a metal hook and eye and a metal zipper hand sewn to the center back. The skirt is self-lined and is made with machine stitches.
