- Description
- A pink colored silk jersey dress with two embroidered panel inserts. The dress features a rounded square neckline, faced with self-fabric. The front of the dress is composed of three continuous panels of fabric - one for the center and one for each side that are gathered at the waist. A .5” band of elastic that has been bast stitched to the inside of the dress, cinching the waist. There are two pink chain stitched thread belt loops – one on the proper left and right of the waist. The corresponding belt is missing. The full-length sleeves are one panel of fabric each seamed at the inner arm. The sleeves are slightly gathered and sewn into the shoulder which features a 1.625” wide panel of an embroidered metallic geometric design with pink diamond and triangle shapes against a blue background. There are two inseam pockets (one on each side) with self-lining. The back of the dress is composed of four continuous panels of fabric that extend to skirt hem and are gathered at the waist. The elastic waistband is basted to the inside of the dress and covered in a brown synthetic ribbon casing which is machine-stitched into place. The two center back panels are bisected by a 12.5” lapped zipper with a metal zipper pull and plastic teeth. The skirt hem is folded under and finished with machine stitching. A white fabric label machine stitched to the interior back collar reads [SCOTT BARRIE / NEW YORK] in black text. All interior seams have been pressed open and left raw. The interior of the dress is unlined.
