Description
A coral satin full length evening dress with a black velveteen bodice. The dress has a wide boatneck collar and long bishop sleeves that are gathered at the top of the shoulders and at the bottom along the cuffs. Black velveteen cuffs are sewn to the bottom of each sleeve, with a four and a half inch slit along sides which closes with a metal snap at each cuff. The bodice of the dress is made of black synthetic velveteen and has drop waist. A center front seam and princess seams are sewn to the bodice along the black velveteen. The sleeves and bottom of the dress are made of coral synthetic satin. The synthetic satin is gathered below the black velveteen along the dropped waistline seam and has an A-line silhouette. The back of the dress has back princess seams, a center back seam and a thirty-two-inch metal zipper is hand sewn along the center back seam. A metal hook and thread eye are sewn above the center back zipper and above the start of the coral synthetic satin below the waist. Two metal snaps are sewn below the bottom hook and eye. Two side back seams are sewn along the coral synthetic starting at the top of the drop waist seam and ending at the hem. The velveteen bodice is hand sewn to the sleeves and skirt. The velveteen cuffs are handsewn to the bottom of the sleeves. The black velveteen is lined with black synthetic fabric which is hand stitched along the neckline and sleeves. A panel of cotton lining is sewn to each side of the bodice. Black synthetic tulle is sewn at the top of the shoulders where the coral synthetic is gathered. The sleeves are lined with black cotton. The edges of the coral satin along the interior of the sleeves are finished with black synthetic lace seam binding. The bottom portion of the dress is lined with black cotton. The coral satin along the hem, center back seam, and side seams are finished with black synthetic lace seam binding.
