- Description
- A fitted black velour dress with silver embellishments design by Peter Davy. The high-necked dress is fitted through the bodice and floor-length skirt, which has a long slit at the center back. The back bodice has an oval cut-out extending from the neck to the waist. The full-length blousy sleeves have fitted cuffs made from a shiny synthetic black stretch knit fabric. A silver sequin and beaded stylized leaf paillette is sewn at the proper right front shoulder. The collar and back cut-out are trimmed in silver sequins. Six (6) strands of round faceted silver beads are sewn at the proper left front along the shoulder seam, extending in progressively longer lengths across the front of the dress and attached at the other end to the proper right sleeve cuff. The dress closes at the center back neck with one (1) metal hook-and-eye, and below the cut-out with a black metal and plastic zipper.
- The dress is lined only at the front yoke with black synthetic fabric. Black shoulder pads are sewn at each interior shoulder. There are no labels in the dress.
