- Description
- A black net and silver sequin dress designed by Peter Davy. The dress has a fitted bodice through the natural waist and hips with one shoulder at the proper right side and a dropped waistline. The front bodice has a sweetheart neckline and a straight diagonal back that reaches upward on the proper right side to form the single strap. The waistline is cut on the diagonal extending downward from proper left to proper right. The bodice is made from black synthetic stretch knit fabric overlaid in black net lace, which is decorated all over in silver sequins sewn in a lattice pattern. A double layer of black net fabric in a ruffled rosette is sewn at the proper right shoulder, with both layers of net trimmed in a row of silver sequins. The full skirt is made from a heavily gathered double layer of black net with an asymmetrical hemline that follows the diagonal waistline from proper left down to proper right. The skirt layers are both trimmed in a double row of silver sequins. The dress closes at the proper left side seam.
- The bodice is fully lined in black stretch knit. Boning is sewn between the lining and the facing at each front bust. The skirt is not lined. Black hanger loops are sewn on the interior proper left at the underarm side seam and the interior proper right at the shoulder seam. There are no labels in the dress.
