- A boudoir card showing an African American woman plowing with a log cabin in the background. The text "Wo-han Buck / 236" inscribed on the negative, recto. On the verso, printed list of image descriptions and numbers, all of them in the series of "Special Southern Views" made by this same photographer, who is listed on the verso as "Russell Bros., Anniston, ALA." The names are quite derogatory in language and conclude "These and many other excellent views constitute the best collection of Southern Character views ever made. They are sold at 24 cents each, or $2.50 per dozen..."
