- Description
- Black and white image of a man and two (2) children gathering wood. The three (3) are in a scrap wood pile with varying types of wood and sizes. In the left lower portion of the image is a young girl holding wood scraps in her arms. She is seen looking to her proper right. She is wearing a plaid dress, dark sweater, white shoes and dark socks. In her hair there is a bow. In the center of the image, is a man squatting with arms resting on his knees. He wears a dark leather jacket, dark colored hat, light pants and light shirt. He is looking to his proper left and is smiling with his front teeth showing. To his proper left is a small boy, standing. The boy wears light-colored overalls and dark sweater. In the upper right portion of the image is a large stone wall with cloth hanging over the top of the wall. To the left of the wall is a wood fence and tall foliage. In the background on the left edge of the image is a white, clapboard house, trees, trash can, and clothesline with clothes.
