Description
Black and white image of Martha Sapp and a baby lying in bed, while a man and another child stand near them. Sapp lays in bed, covered with a geometric patterned quilt and blankets. The quilt and blankets take up the bottom half of the image. Sapp's face and arms are above the blankets and resting near her head. Her hair is wrapped in a scarf. She is smiling and looks to the people near the bed. The baby rests in the crook of the woman's proper left arm and is sleeping with its right hand on its face. The headboard of the bed frame takes up the top of the image. To the right of the bed, on the right third of the image, is a man and child. The man holds a child in his arms balanced on his proper right hip. The man wears dark pants and a light shirt. He looks at Sapp with his face in profile. The child in his arms also looks at Sapp. The child wears white colored clothing.
