Description
Black and white image of porch fronts on a street with Mary Coley and Martha Sapp standing on a porch in the mid-ground. The image is captured from the porch of a house next to the one the women are visiting. A column from the porch can be seen on the right side of the image. Between the houses, is a clothesline strung on a tree. The clothesline has towels and cloths pinned to the line. The house with the visiting women on the porch is light-colored with white trim. On the porch is wooden furniture. The two (2) women are in shadow and Sapp wears a scarf wrapped around her head and chin. Coley stands in front of Sapp. Behind the women is a building advertising cosmetics and medicines. In the yard of in front of this building is a small yard sign advertising Kinnett's Ice Cream. The sign is dark colored with white letters [Eat/Kinnett's / ICE CREAM]. On the far right side of the image is the street with two (2) cars, one light-colored and the other white.
