Description
Black and white image of Mary Coley and Martha Sapp. Sapp stands with her proper right knee resting on a chair seat. Coley stands, out of focus on the right side of the image, and irons. The women stand near a whitewashed, cement block wall on which hang picture frames filled with images of babies and small children. Sapp wears a dark, plaid outfit. She is seen smiling at the Coley and her body faces the camera in three-quarter view. Her proper left hand rests on the top of the chair back covered with jackets. Behind her is a door with a window curtained with sheer fabric. On the wall, above and to the right of the woman, is a large rectangular picture frame with three (3) smaller picture frames underneath. In the upper right corner of the image is a what appears to be a microphone.
