Description
A black and white image of four (4) women and a baby seated on a bench. The woman on the far left, in the foreground wears a diamond patterned dress with a head scarf and glasses. The second to the left woman wears a light-colored shirt and checkered skirt. She also has a checkered bow tied around her hair. She also wears a white bow collar and pearls around her neck. In her proper right front pocket of her shirt are some pieces of paper. Her hands are folded in her lap. The woman second to the right is Martha Sapp. Sapp wears a light-colored dress with stylized triangles sewn to her collar. Her shirt front has three sparkly buttons and she wears a white, round earring in her proper right ear. In her lap is her son, Alvin Sapp, who is sleeping with his head resting on a cloth in the crook of the woman's proper left elbow. The woman on the far right, right of center, is wearing a plaid patterned dress with a wide white collar that has small daisies sewn to edges. Her hands are folded in her lap and hold a small piece of paper. All women are seated in front of a white brick walls. In the upper left corner are dark bricks on the wall behind the seated women.
