- Description
- This cabinet card portrait depicts a young woman, Ida Allston, looking to her right and wearing a dark-colored pleated bodice with a white ruffled lace collar and earrings. A cartouche and banner with the text "ART STUDIO" inside the banner is printed on the bottom of the card mount. Beneath it is the text "CRAMER & KING / NEW HAVEN, CONN." Printed on the reverse of the mount is a design of a winged cherub on the right taking a photograph of a woman in Classical style dress who sits on the left. Text in the upper right reads "PHOTOGRAPHERS / CRAMER & KING / 818 CHAPEL STREET / NEW HAVEN / CONN / SOLAR ENLARGEMENTS / DUPLICATES / CAN BE HAD / AT ANY TIME."
