Description
A photograph album containing thirty (30) portraits and one (1) memorial card, dating from the 1880s to the early 20th century.
The photograph album has a dark brown, textured padded cover. The interior covers have an emerald green paper with a gold gilt design of repeating leafy flowers. A pink paper label adhered to the inside front cover reads "J.H. McKINNON & Co. / STATIONERS PRINTERS / AND / BLANK BOOK MANUF'RS / WATERBURY, Conn." The front page of the interior has a gilt design of a floral vine around a white window that contains gild flowers. Below the window is a shield with a lion holding a shield containing the letters "E P & Co." The word "ALBUM" in gilded letters inside a banner runs across the upper portion of the window. The outer edges of each paged are gilded. The album closes with a metal clasp on the right side. Inside the album are pages with windows for cabinet cards, which slide into place through a slit below the window.
