- A letterpress printed trade card for the slave dealers Blount and Dawson, printd in black ink on off-white paper stock. Large text in various decorative fonts reads: [A CARD. / BLOUNT & DAWSON, / GENERAL BROKERS / For the Purchase and Sale of Negroes and Other / Property. / SAVANNAH, GEORGIA]. In smaller text, [Having taken the Office and New Jail completed by Wm. Wright, Esq., we are / able to afford secure and good accommodations for all negroes left with us for Sale / or Safe-Keeping would respectfully solicit a share of public patronage.]. At bottom left is [E.M. BLOUNT.] and at bottom right is [W.C. Dawson]. Along the bottom is [Having leased the above gentlemen my office and jail, would take pleasure in / recommending them to my patrons and the public generally. / WM. WRIGHT.].
